Information we hold

When you request a free trial of our portal or you make an enquiry to use our services or you engage in our services, we create a profile for you on our database.

Personal data we hold is Salutations, First Names, Middle Names, Surnames, Date of Birth, National Insurance Numbers, Unique Taxpayers Reference Numbers, Home Addresses, Email Addresses, Telephone Numbers and Mobile Numbers.

The information we hold comes from the client directly. We ask them for these details and they email it to us or post it to us.

The information is only available to the employees of Accrida Limited. It may be shared to HM Revenue & Customs when passing through their security.

The information is only used when preparing accounts, self assessment tax returns and payroll. The data is used to go on to each return i.e personal names or national insurance numbers.

Email addresses are used for marketing newsletters, and are also added to relevant mailing lists within our Mailchimp account. There is an unsubscribe button at the foot of every email we send.

 

Lawful Basis for Processing Personal Data

The lawful basis for processing data in this firm are:
Consent – the individual has given us consent to process their data to run payroll, prepare accounts or complete a self assessment tax return.
Contract – It is necessary to collate and process the data to be able to draw up a contract.

 

Consent

The client gives us consent to use their personal data when contacting HMRC as without this our job is not possible.
Consent has also been asked for to clients wishing to remain on the marketing newsletter mailshots.

 

Legitimate Interests

This is appropriate to Accrida Limited as we would use data in ways individuals would reasonably expect and have a minimal privacy impact.

 

Data Protection

Our business is currently registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

 

Individual’s Rights

You will have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • The right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to request that we correct any personal data we hold about you that may be inaccurate or out of date.
  • The right to request your personal data is deleted.
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to withdraw consent to the processing at ay time, where consent was your lawful basis for processing the data.

 

Transfer of Data Abroad

We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA.

 

Further Processing

If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Privacy Notice, we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to engaging in a contract.

 

Changes to the Privacy Policy

If we make any changes to the privacy police in the future we will email you notifying you.
